Board Member — Trails Utah

Overview

Trails Utah is seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors and help build The Greatest Trails on Earth™.

As a board member, you’ll help guide the organization, support trail projects, and advocate for better trails and public access across Utah.

Board Member Expectations

• Attend quarterly board meetings (in person or virtually), with optional social gatherings between meetings.
• Serve on a board committee (finance, policy, partner outreach, etc.), which primarily collaborates by email and may meet once or twice each year.
• Help secure donated items for our annual online auction and member giveaway each fall.
• Participate in at least two Trails Utah events each year, such as educational hikes, volunteer projects, or tabling opportunities.
• Advocate for Trails Utah, public land access, and sustainable trail stewardship within your personal and professional networks. 

Additional Ways to Get Involved

• Introduce Trails Utah to potential donors, sponsors, or project partners.
• Assist with trail projects, planning meetings, or build days.
• Contribute your professional expertise wherever it can best support the organization.
