Raised in the mountains of Idaho, Ben loves the outdoors, and since moving to Salt Lake City in 2010, he has spent most of his free time in the Wasatch Mountains on various trail networks.

In 2019, Ben was in a rock climbing accident and is a wheelchair user and an avid adaptive mountain biker. He loves riding his adaptive bikes as much as possible in wild and remote places of Utah, when he is not biking you can find him on his sit ski.

As a landscape architect, he brings a unique perspective to trail planning and design and believes that everyone should have access to the mountains via accessible trail networks. He is excited to be involved with Trails Utah and is looking forward to making a positive impact in the community.
