This year’s calendar was built to include a range of trail experiences — from casual community hikes to 🌸 botanical walks, 🍄🟫 mushroom hikes, 🦅 bird-focused outings, and evening events ✨ under the stars.
Registration opens first for members and donors, then for people who’ve expressed interest through our volunteer form, and then for the general public.
About: Join Trails Utah for a welcoming community hike focused on mental health and well-being, led by Dru White and Trails Utah’s Sarah Bennett, Sarah Morton, and Cassie Peterinelli.

About: Join a volunteer effort to help restore native ecology at Parley’s Pointe Trail! We will be planting native cactus species under the guidance of restoration ecologists.

About: This hike is a chance to spend a few hours on the trail learning about the plants and spring blooms that shape the foothills.

About: Join Trails Utah and Salty Star Run Club for an evening hike timed around sunset, followed by time to pause, take in the night sky, and head back down together.

About: Fall is raptor migration season, making this a great time to learn more about birds of prey and the landscapes they move through. This event will begin with a live-bird presentation at the trailhead, followed by a community hike with time for bird spotting and trail-based learning along the way.
