Welcome to giving season 2024

Giving season

Giving Season runs from November-December and is the time of year where Trails Utah raises a substantial portion of its yearly donations!

In 2024, those donations were used to help complete the Silver Lake Loop Trail, Rim to River Trail, Big Water Trail to Dog Lake, and the Lodestone Bike Park (expected completion 12/24).

We have a fundraising goal of $30,000 this year to help complete the following projects in 2025.

Don’t want to donate today? Join our silent auction!

The silent auction runs from November 11th – November 25th and has goodies from the likes of The State Room Presents, High West Distillery, Ogden’s Own Distillery, Pit Viper, and more!

Why are donations so critical to how Trails Utah operates?

While grants cover construction and material costs, there are years of behind-the-scenes planning, coordination, permitting, and agreements needed to get trails built. These are the things we need YOUR support to cover.

In addition to covering non-material / construction costs, to secure grants, we often need matching funds. This means that Trails Utah has to find 50% of project funding up front, that we gather from donations from supporters like you, partners,  and small grants.

Trails Utah Membership

Members are those that give on a recurring basis and are the lifeblood of Trails Utah.

While costs like construction and materials are covered by grants, the 3-5 year process of discovering where folks want trails, getting them approved, running feasibility studies, finding trail builders, and maintaining this website are typically not.

Help fund the 3-5 year trail building process by joining the one of the member levels below.

About the Artist:

Liberty Blake is an English born, abstract collage artist, currently living in Utah. Her work explores themes of the natural world and the human condition, with a particular focus on the environment. Both her mythic and real world landscape process involves working from memory, fusing mental imagery with her emotional response to it, creating an abstracted interpretation of place. Liberty is an avid mountain biker and outdoor enthusiast. She gathers most of the inspiration for her collage work while riding in the mountains and deserts of Utah.
Visit her website here or The Phillips Gallery in Salt Lake City, to see her work in person.
